Why would you want to add a follow button to your blog for any Twitter user? I’ve found out this works in Firefox and Safari, but Chrome doesn’t seem to work. Still I’m using it for two reasons.
First, it helps to have a list of users on my Kingdom ReTweet Club. As people join up I’ll add them to the list. A quick survey of current users on the list show a total of over 160,000 followers. That’s a decent reach for a tweet to get and the more people who sign up the bigger the reach will become. I’m limiting the club to 250, but currently we’re not at that limit and so using the follow button.
Secondly, I’ll use this code for a Follow Friday Post. My posts automatically get sent across my social networks. Why not get traffic to my blog from people who are looking to follow followable people?
It occurs to me you may not know what I’m talking about. Here’s a sample of what I’m talking about:
Follow
The Code

//
How Will You Use?
Can you think of ways this code can be useful for you? Here are a few I came up with…
1. Have people follow YOU without leaving your blog.
2. Promote other people on your blog.
3. Promote people in your company, or ministry or of like minds
How will you use this code? Let me know in the comments.
