My thoughts for the New Year

Happy New Year!

I started a new journal today and after I wrote my goals for 2014 (resolutions are too easy to break – goals are measurable to time based) this poem came to me.

Tell me what you think in the comments…

Life Get’s Crazy and I Get Lazy
by Trevor Lund

I know life gets crazy and I get lazy,
but I want change today.

I know life gets crazy and I get lazy,
but good things are on the way.

I know life gets crazy and I get lazy,
but the New Year has begun.

I know life gets crazy and I get lazy,
but challenge makes it all fun.
2013-2014

I like it. I developed a mantra following John Jantsch’s book The Commitment Engine today- and came up with Radiant Beacon. I think when I wake in the morning as a radiant beacon, I will be much more energized to start my day with a healthy, positive attitude of joy, hope, sharing, and love. I might try the activity for a class at church.

Awesome Jane. Our thoughts do determine our attitude. You’re off to an amazing start!
