I’m concluding my series on “How Big Is Your But?”
“But” is a little word that excuses so much worry, fear and disobedience in our lives.
Twenty one of the Lord’s 125 commands to his disciples were about not fearing. He didn’t want His followers to worry.
When God tells you to do something you’d rather put off or not do I want you to remember:
Is it bigger than you can do on your own?
Good.
Is it bigger than your God?
No.
Stop your worry by Agreeing God Cares For You, Praying About Everything, and Choosing to be Thankful.
Be like Joshua who loved God’s presence and Caleb who was wholehearted in his devotion. There are giants in the land the Father is giving you to possess. Don’t let worry lead to fear and fear lead to disobedience. Caleb at 85 said, “Now give me my mountain that I should posses it. There I giants there and I want their fortified cities.”
We need more Caleb’s in the world.
Will you be one?
I definitely want to be a Caleb! I want to live a life that demonstrates that my God is bigger than any “hurdles” there may be!
God was just talking to me about a fear this morning about speaking more plainly and openly with someone who I’ve been holding back with. He told me “speak in faith”. Meaning be bold and speak and trust Him with the outcome. And don’t hold back because I think I know what that outcome is.
He pointed out how I had nothing to lose by speaking as God is telling me and everything to lose if I don’t.
Fear is a killer. I thank God for the added confirmation through you.

Thanks Rachel. I’ve put you in my whitelist so every time you comment it automatically appears. I love your blogging as well. Keep stepping out in faith. Everything not done in faith is sin (Romans 14:23b).
