Thanks Kathy,

I really feel honor is the antidote for judging. The Bible says so much on it that it challenges all of us. It's been years since I've read the Sandford's but I'll need to get back to them sometime. I gave up a LOT of books moving to New Zealand and back.

I love what you say about honoring even though I feel like I don't fully get it yet as far as being able to implement it. Honoring is taking off your own woundings and the distortions that make you view everyone according to your expectations. It is seeing them through God's eyes with the potential for glory that is there.
Is that correct?

Is honoring the opposite of judging? I am not talking about judging which is discernment which we all need to function in this world--I am speaking of the judging in which we label and limit someone in our thinking or in our relating to them.

Your writings remind me of Elijah House International teachings. Have you read John and Paula Sandford?

Thanks for the comments. Yes, it's so easy to jump all over people especially when their sin affects us directly. We feel justified to let them have it. It keeps many from confessing their sins to each other... which we need to sometimes in order to be healed.

Saw you posted it on facebook as well. Thanks for that. Made me remember to change the picture in the sidebar, but for some reason the change isn't happening as instantly as I expected :)

Thank you for this post. I think people forget that when someone sins, that after the person confesses is when they need encourage and support the mos
