Apropos your comment about the status of “doormat”, Trevor, I once heard people who are one of those those described as members of the “Dependent Order Of Really Miserable And Timid Souls”.

When people in Jesus’ time described Him as “meek” they didn’t mean what many people hear nowadays.

You’ll help me if I mis-speak but I understand the Biblical Greek for “meek” is the word that also would have been used to describe a wild Arabian stallion that had been tamed and was under control.

Hi Revtrev i am @vedominguez on twitter. my niece is going through a storm with her ex and his family. They continue to attack her and cause problems for her. I told her to not worry about it. i will share this story with her god loves us so much he will protect her from the enemy.
