2010 Life Above the Negativity 40 Day Fast

Time is ticking down to Lent. It’s 40 days before Easter; a time for preparation.

Celebrating Lent is not part of my religious tradition, but I love history and so appreciate the purpose of Lent that once again I’ll be promoting a Fast From Negativity over lent.

There’s a lot for me to do. I’ll be merging 40DaysFromNegativity.com with LifeAbovetheNegativity.com and that means I’ll need to update the links and formatting in the daily emails as well as move the Identity in Christ files to the new server.

Lent begins February 17th and I’ll post six days on different topics around fasting from negativity, then on the 23rd I’ll start posting the 40 days of devotionals that will take us to Good Friday. (If you’re wondering why I have 6 extra days of posts it’s because I understand lent doesn’t count Sundays, as we should always be giving up what we give up for lent on Sundays anyway).

So you’ll have 3 ways to participate in this fast from negativity. You don’t need these tools to fast from negativity, but I’m trying to make it as easy as possible for as many people as possible to join. You can:
