It’s been a while since I’ve posted. There’s been a lot on the back end I’ve been doing since I found out the amount of traffic that’s been coming to my site. It turns out javascript programs like Google and WordPress stats wouldn’t load when I was getting a lot of traffic, so they couldn’t record what was actually taking place. I’ve got a faster server now (that I will need to upgrade soon) and so those javascript services are picking up more traffic as well.
But I also signed up with Cloudflare and they include the cache-page views. I’m hosting my files on a Rackspace CDN and it agrees with the Cloudflare numbers – I’m not just getting the 400 pageviews a day recorded by WordPress stats, yesterday I have 5628 pageviews.
So I’m doing a couple of major things. First, I’m consolidating my websites into RevTrev.com – I don’t have time to keep up with maintenance, marketing and promotion of LifeAbovetheNegativity.com, TrevorLund.com ExpectancyMinistries.com TheKeyToday.com and ExpectancyPress.com If you click on any one of those links they’ll take you back to a specific landing page on revtrev.com. Why am I doing that?
I know it’s going to bring more traffic to RevTrev.com, but it also makes my hosting a lot cleaner and my site maintenance and marketing a lot easier.
My plans to post a lot more in 2012 have yet to begin…oh the posts are written, many of them are sitting as drafts in WordPress. But I’ve needed to get my landing pages done (Check out the book ones – click on any book…I know, there’s still work to do) and I’m working on getting targeted pop-up sign ups for the email lists like my newsletter, Counselling Corner, Twitter Tips, and the Negativity Fast - That reminds me the 2012 Negativity Fast starts the last week in February and I’m hosting it on RevTrev.com this year. I guess that’s the next thing on my agenda.
