Rethink Reality.
I’ve been told by my hosting provider that I’m using up too many resources with RevTrev.com. That got me looking at my stats for page views to see what the issue could be. It’s humbling and a little scary if you knew half of my plans for RevTrev.com. I really need to find a host that can effectively handle the traffic. Does it feel like Christmas is coming in your part of the world? My sister returns from Africa in a couple of days. She’s home for Christmas and them off (I think) to the Dominican Republic for another short term missions trip. She’s been asked by the organization she was with in Africa to write a book about her experiences. I did it. I took the plunge. I swallowed the red pill. I transferred my many sites to a new server promising better security and faster load times. I’d better not be seeing those 508 resource errors again any time soon. I tell you, the more traffic you get to your site the more you have to learn about the technical side of hosting. It’s one of those weeks with interesting phone calls, facebook messages, meetings and emails. It’s not even just because I stepped in it (more below). It looks like I’ll be sending out this newsletter on Wednesdays for now. Thursdays have booked up for me. We actually had some very exciting news this week and the complications that arose from the exciting news seemed to have been worked out.
