How I’ve Journeyed Through Challenges to Hope

People struggle with hope in three main areas – health, relationships, and finances. In the book, I explain that all of areas point to the same attack. These are the areas that we’ve been tested in. Health My father died with Bulbar ALS. We prayed, we fasted, we called out, we proclaimed, we heard God’s will…and it wasn’t done on earth as it is in heaven. We have family members with fibromyalgia that aren’t healed when others we pray for [...] Read more »

A Visual History of Religion

This is just too cool. It’s a visualization of world religious history. Can’t wait to see more people come into a personal relationship with our loving God. I had someone call me today to ask my help publishing a “spiritual book”, when I asked what it was about I was told, “it’s religion without God.” I didn’t mean to laugh, but I couldn’t help it. Who would really want anything to do with religion… especially if it’s without God? I [...] Read more »

Intolerance

Intolerance. The word holds so much more passion than its intrinsic meaning. In growing circles it’s synonymous with words like “Nazi” and “apartheid” both of which were at their core, intolerant. What Does Living Under the Law Look Like?

condemnation

In the last post on this topic I quickly defined what living “under the law” looks like, so you can know if that’s why you’re so attracted to living like Paul’s illustration of Romans 7. I used the following criteria: Judgement over Grace Works over Relationship Shame over Identity It’s time I let you know what I mean by those. Judgment over Grace When we live under the law, we live with Judgment. Judgment blames God for the works of [...] Read more »

Passing Along the Freedom of Forgiveness

The Father is in the business of restoring relationship with you, restoring your relationships with others and restoring our relationship with creation. And forgiveness is the tool He uses and the means He provides to ensure His plans works – in a world that is still not what it was intended to be. That world is coming and we’ll get there because He’s forgiven us. He is our motivation and example when He said, “Father forgive them…” from the cross. [...] Read more »
