We need to understand the good God has for us. Is God really good? Is He is a good mood? Let’s examine the life of Christ to see the “good” that His obedience brought Him. Unless you’re taking a test and the Teacher is silent, the Father is always speaking. It’s up to us to learn how He’s speaking in this season, or else we may just miss it. We need Truth. All of us can get focused on the lies we tell ourselves and the lies of the one who seeks to kill, steal and destroy. I’ve found the only solution for it is to allow the Father to regularly search our thoughts and show us any wicked way we’re walking in. What is Good News? I don’t want to cause division, but I was asked to review a book on what is lacking in Western Christianity. The only answer the book gave was “taking care of the poor.” While I agree we really need social activism as part of the good news, it’s not up the the church to become a better version of a service group like the Rotary Club.
