I often get questions that really deserve answers, so I thought I would share my thoughts on this blog as well.
Currently the most common question is along these lines – Why are so many church leaders are blaming natural disasters on sin and sin alone?
While I agree with Scripture that I cannot judge another’s servant. I do have cry for us to see things another way.
We’ve got to stop blaming God for the works of the one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. We also need to be His hands and feet to show His goodness. Instead of just saying, “God will turn it to good” – which He will – we need to pray and act so His good will will be done on heaven as in earth.
Is God punishing Haiti? If He is, He’s certainly a petty god not passionate about redemption. My God is bigger than that.
