Lord I feel like chasing
Lord what do I do?
I feel like I am chasing
everything but you.

Lord am I only wasting
all the time you give?
Lord is this really anyway
one should try to live?

Lord why do I run
when I should hide?
Why do I cower
when I should rise?

Lord, why is my mood
so often my guide?
Why do my feelings
so often lie?

Lord why don’t I listen?
Why don’t I wait?
Why do I carry
all  of this weight?

Lord I feel like chasing
Lord what do I do?
