Notes for 7 Tips to help you work unto the Lord
1. Let gratitude rule your thoughts.

2. Work as an expression of love.

3. Be honest in all your dealings.

4. Grow in your skill-set.
[Tweet “Grow in your skill-set. @revtrev”]Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men (Proverbs 22:29).
5. Learn to let God’s plans prevail.
[Tweet “Learn to let God’s plans prevail. @revtrev”]Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that” (James 4:13-15)
6. Focus on the work you’ve been given.
Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty (Proverbs 28:19).

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29)

“As you go”…
…make disciples. Matthew 28:19
…declare the Kingdom. Matthew 10:7
….heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons and raise the dead. Matthew 10:8-9
It’s in the day-to-day of everyday that people see your light and that people taste your salt.
It’s as you remove the false wall between the sacred and secular that you experience more and more of the goodness of God.
Keep God in your focus in all that you do.
