There’s a verse in proverbs that says we make the plans and God directs our steps. That tells me I need to be diligent to do my part, but keep in step with the Spirit every day.
How do you keep in step with Spirit?
Do you have a rhythm that makes space for you to listen when He speaks? Do you have a routine that you rely on to be more aware of His presence? Are you doing your best to be interruptible?
All of us are different and we are in different seasons of life but during this season of Advent becomes easier for all of to remember Immanuel – GOD WITH US.
I’m getting really excited for 2020. My cardiologist has confirmed my main arteries are clean and heart is fine. He’s reduced my beta blocker and I’ll be feeling more like myself in less than a week. I am ready to make my plans, say my prayers and do my best to keep in step with Holy Spirit.
Let’s start with my prayers. What I pray for myself, I pray for all of you. It comes from 2 Thessalonians 1:11 which says in the NLT: So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

I am so excited about that verse. I so enjoy praying it for people. (I’ll do it for you at the end of this email.) Anything not done in faith is sin (Romans 14:23) and so doing the things our faith prompts us to do is keeping in step with the Spirit.
How am I practically keeping in step with the Spirit?
My time with God has prompted me to do this. It’s not quite done yet, but I took it public and you can have a sneak peek at it.
It’s the Live LIGHT Public Roadmap. You can access it at https://revtrev.com/roadmap
You can ask me your questions, give me your comments and suggestions and vote on other comments and suggestions to help me know better what might be on God’s mind because it’s also on your mind. Together we have the mind of Christ.
I also spend time with Him and the roadmap to ask and “feel what might” be on His mind to do next and each day.
You’ll see the what’s in progress right now is the Live LIGHT Pathway Coaching and Live LIGHT Journey Coaching. Pathway Coaching is group coaching. Journey Coaching is one-on-one coaching.
