We have all felt stressed at least once this week and even though it is a normal reaction, it doesn’t have to be a rule. Stress is around us and we can’t avoid it but what we can do is to handle it. You don’t have to feel too much stress to start handling it, I highly recommend you start with stress management today. Stress management is a way of life, it is a life with better habits, better organization, and better quality. Don’t wait too long to make your life amazing!
Now, I am sure you want to begin your new stress management routine but you feel a little lost. What is the best first step and where to begin? Those are normal questions you can ask yourself and I want you to ask them because it will help you choose the right path.
The first step you can do is to organize your life. It doesn’t have to be something very big if you aren’t ready for that, but I suggest you start with one day. Plan your day in advance and try to make a little schedule for tomorrow. that will give you a sense of control and you will prepare yourself for the obligations you have to do.
Choose a part of the day (one-hour minimum) which will be your “me-time”. Me-time is a time when you do what you want. In that hour (or more) you can go swimming, read a book, hit the gym, enjoy a cup of coffee with friends or enjoy a match of foosball. My Sportcraft foosball table is my favorite anti-stress therapy and I highly recommend you to try it.
The task of “me-time” is to relax your body and soul and the best way to do that is to enjoy. If you have one hour a day to relax you are in better position than most people and you made the biggest step in stress management.
