I’m outlining the benefits to help increase the expectancy and therefore the desire to learn to fear the Lord.
I’ve found twelve benefits for fearing the Lord that include and go beyond getting the good He’s promised to us. These 12 may not be a complete list, but they are what I can find in Scripture.

There really are great benefits for fearing the Lord, in fact:
It’s better to have little with the fear of the Lord than great wealth with turmoil (Proverbs 15:16).
[Tweet “The fear of the Lord is better than great wealth (Prov 15:16) @revtrev”]It’s not passe. It’s not for another dispensation. It’s not for someone “other than me.”
We need to understand how we can fear the Lord. That’s the next post in this series. I’d appreciate hearing any thoughts you have it this so far. I know it can be a controversial or ignored topic.
Thank you and I am interested in your next series mentioned in this one.
Please send me any and all that you have on fearing the Lord.
Also I want the spirit to teach me knowing who God is,and what he had done for me.
I believe this is also what help’s to be in awe of him and what he has done.
Thank you

thank you
I fear the lord but i discovered the things i dont want to do i find myself doing them unconsciously, what do i do? Sobbing now as i type.
God bless you Rev Trev for such a great teaching on the fear of the Lord. I want to walk in the fear of the Lord all the days of my life, to revere Him because He holds my life and also because of who He is. I know there is a great reward for those that fear the Lord and obey His commands. We also Him He is the only one who can destroy both body and soul. In the book of Mathew 10:28 says And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear HIM WHICH IS ABLE to destroy both soul and body in hell. I have loved your teachings Rev which are very beneficial to me.
Thanks so much Anne
It is rewarding to fear the Lord.

Is a blessing to fear the Lord. My desire is to grow in the fear of God
