I’m planning a series on the early church councils. I thought it would be great to start with the Nicene Creed with Scripture References. Feel free to tell me what you think of it in the comments. Am I missing any verses that should be in?

I have never heard or recited the Creed as plural, “we”. I have always seen it an individual statement of faith. Can’t say it’s wrong as I am not a historian or researcher. Just an observation.
Thanks.
It’s probably started wars in the past. That’s for being graceful about it.
through whom all things were made c.f. John 1:3 “All things were made through him…”
This is a wonderful discovery and a strong defense against the enemies of the true gospel. Thanks alot.
Terrific !
Awesome! This is right up my alley. As I research my novels I study the Early Church Fathers. This will come in handy for me with my 4th novel (when I get there![😉](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/15.0.3/svg/1f609.svg)
