The Live LIGHT Manifesto
For all those who are called to freedom and use freedom to serve others in love.
I was created to walk with God in the garden in the cool of the day.
Sin came into the world and I bore the consequences.
Jesus came and reversed the curse and took my place and invited me to take his yoke that is easy and his burden that is light.
I live LIGHT. I live out of my God-created identity.
I am a child of God creation longs to be revealed.
Living with His light burden is the rhythm I work from in the day-to-day of every day.
I don’t hold it as an idea in my head or sentiment in my heart, but work out its implications in every detail of my life.
I don’t have time to be busy.
I don’t have time to worry.
I don’t have time to waste.
I can’t love God and show. I can’t love God and dough. I can’t love God and worry. I can’t love God and hurry. I know priority can never be plural.
My life matters to everyone in my everyday world.
I follow His path and pattern.
I take my everyday life, my eating, sleeping, going-to-work, and walking-around life and lay it before him as an offering.
I only do what i see the Father do. I only say what I hear the Father say.
I do everything as unto the Lord.
I take thoughts captive, I tear down strongholds, I demolish arguments.
I follow His rhythms of abiding, margin, pause and rest.
I choose to be interruptible.
I choose to live LIGHT.
I choose to Live Loved, (1 John 4:19) knowing nothing can separate me from His love. Jesus said, “Make yourselves at home in my love.” John 15:9
I choose to Live Intentional, the way Jesus only said and did what came from the Father. Jesus said, “I only do what i see the Father doing.” John 5:19
I choose to Live Generous, the way God lives towards everyone. Jesus said, “Give away your life.” Luke 6:38
I choose to Live Hopeful, knowing I can trust my good Father. Jesus said, “Don’t get lost in despair…” John 14:1
I choose to Live Today, knowing faithfulness to God is multiplication. Jesus said, “As you go…” Matthew 10:7-8
I Live Loved radically. I Live Intentional fearlessly. I Live Generous joyfully. I Live Hopeful trustfully.. I Live Today mindfully.
It’s amazing what happens when I align my whole heart – my emotion, my intellect and my action – with the Father’s heart.
Doing right is better than simply knowing right.
Loving right matters the most.
Growth, Gratitude and Generosity are choices I make today.
Little simple gestures change people’s lives.
Soul friends are life changing friends.
Peace rules my heart.
I honour all people.
I live unoffendable.
I CAN change how I feel.
The darker the night the brighter my light.
