I have been struggling with lust addiction. Suddenly I felt something say “Seek God’s Face” or “Seek My Face”… And I started repeating it and opening up to God. Low and behold when the temptation arises there is a space of freedom, I choose it and ask for the Face of God. It’s the freest two weeks of my life. My intention is that this be a daily practice moving forward. Was happy to see your post, and it helped things “click”, affirmed things. Thank you!

…I’ve been trusting God for something that I forgot my place in him. No fellowship, no worship, no study, normal routine of prayer (devotion). All I wanted was for God to just grant me what I want. Then, I had a dream where a woman told me so many things then I asked her ‘what do I do’? She replied and said “God and seek the face of God” even though I know what that means, I just searched goggle ‘how can I seek the face of God’? Then i was led to this place.
I’m sure I’ll find Him as I’ve chosen to seek Him.
    Thank you so much Rev.

According to this scripture, 2Chr 7:14. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” We all need to humble ourselves in order to gain God’s presence. Let us all know that we are nothing without God, this will also propel our journey with God and also help us to rely on his grace. Thank you and remain blessed. Amen!

Wake up early and get into praise and worship and prayer. Then or before that get into his word with your heart. After that I like to get into worship for the test of the day praising him and talking to him. We all think all day either way, why not just talk to him instead of think all day?? Doing this has completely changed my life. At first it may seem hard or not normal but after a while you will just do it as you once just thought all day without trying. now you will praise pray and worship all day without even trying. I hope someone reads this and trys it.

I talks to him. I read my Bible. Go to church whenever I can get there. Not good at praying but I be saying something. I got saved on August the sixth of last year. Either he put me on the waiting list or I’m not saved. There’s no kind of connection between him and I. I’m grateful that he breathes upon me every morning. I call him constantly.

You’re not on a waiting list he’s talking to you but maybe you’re not hearing him. Don’t look to actually hear God’s voice because you may not, a lot of times the Lord will speak to you in your everyday life. You could be watching tv, listening to the radio etc. and something will come on pertaining to what you’re thinking or going through, it’s not a coincidence. Those times that you think you’re having all these coincidences you’re not! Nothing is by coincidence, that is God trying to reach you, when it happens you can say “I hear you Lord, or I get it, I receive your message” . I was sent here to this page to tell you that there are no coincidences and the Lord is speaking to you. I was looking up a scripture and somehow I found this page I don’t even know how I got here to be honest lol but I know now that the Lord led me here to give you this message! 🙏🏽🫶🏽🩷

GOD is in you, you are HIS TEMPLE, HE LIVES IN you through The PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT in your Spirit. Start reading and meditating on HIS WORD. Do it daily..be consistent. Most have morning DEVOTIONS. Pray, talk to HIM by using HIS WORD. It’s good for new Believers to start with the Gospel of The Book of John. (NEW TESTAMENT).

Seeking God is to get rid of all “things” that distracts us from hearing, obeying, pleasing, serving and intimate fellowship with God. Seeking God is to stay close to Him and bid his instructions and directions at all times. Seeking God is to know His will per time. Seeking God is to stay close with him. Seeking God is to know our meeting point daily.

I have started the process of letting go of business from my schedule. I was so caught up in serving that I didn’t leave any time for myself or my family. God is so cool in the fact that when I’m counciling people He is counciling me. We are first called to love The Lord our God. I have found the greatest attacks against us is being busy with good things. Sadly it’s time with our families and our personal time with God that suffers. Dropping the worlds yoke and taking up the yoke Jesus has for us is the greatest thing I’m learning to do for my own peace and rest. It has created a more humbled spirit in me because I now have to face pride by saying “it’s too much and I can’t do it”. It has also opened the door for new leaders to rise and God is letting me be a part of the next generation of leaders.

I’ve grow to learn that God desires a close relationship with us. Not something casual or on the holidays, but a intimately close, throughout the day, relationship. My relationship with God, is more than a routine or a good habit. It’s a relationship that just like my wife I must continually pursue and romance. As soon as you arrive at the mentality of “I got her” aka “the ole ball and chain”, you miss the adventure and beauty of pursuit. Well, I believe it’s the same way with our relationship with God! God loves us to pursue him in different ways that come from our heart.
Today I wanted to do something outside of my study room because it was such a beautiful day. I battled the thought that I wasn’t really seeking The Lord because I didn’t have a bible or concordance or any kind of book. Only a cup of coffee, my 4 wheeler, and cell phone (in case my old trusty atv decided to have a bad morning).
Tearing thru the woods and finding the perfect spot in the middle of nowhere under these huge pine trees with straw everywhere i decided to park and chill. Laying on my 4-wheeler listening to the birds and looking up thru the huge pine trees allowed me to stop and realize of all the great things that God has done (like nature it self) and knowing that realize… He is good. Just a simple breath prayer of thankfulness to God saying, “I really do love you!” Is so refreshing. So where’s the scripture reference? I don’t have one that says thus sayeth the Lord, seek me in the woods at this time and this place and I will be there. I thought about Adam and what paradise must have been like. Genesis 3:8 explains it pretty good, “And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.”
Now I understand this was after the fall, but before Adam and Eve’s mistake they had unbroken fellowship with God “in the cool of the day”. I encourage you to seek God in a “new way” according to His Word. I promise you God won’t get mad if you leave your concordance at home. “Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10!
Gods not mad at you, He’s mad about you!

In the book of prophet Hosea chapter Ten verses twelve. There three things to do in verse before one will start seeking God. Fleshy christian will not want to seek the Lord. 1. Sow to yourself in righteousness. This means to stop sining and stat doing what is right in all things. 2 Cor. 9:6. Gal. 6:7-9…….. 2. Reap in mercy. This means to accept and appropriates the mercy of God extend to us, if we do not accept the mercy from God it will be ours. Salvation is by mercy of God and acceptance of man. Matt.5:7 Mk 11: 25….. 3. Break up your fallow ground. This is means to work on your mind, the kind of heart you have towards the word of God you are hearing. Our heart must willing, ready to be broken and yeilded to God. We make ourselves to receive of the word of God and to obey it or seeking Him. Matt 13:3-12, 18-23 Jam.1;18 1Pet.1:23

God says: he looked down to see if there be anyone that understand and does seek Him. But none, no one with understanding. Men seek fame and money. Busy with our business, we have totally forgotten God and can no longer seek him. We need to repent and turn to God once more
